Day One of my #SELFIEvaluation - Exposed Beauty I wanted to do this one first because I know that this is such a hard one for a lot of us ladies, we do not want to post a picture without our 'face' on.  A lot of us won't even leave the house without makeup let alone post a picture for everyone to see! This one, in particular, used to not really be an insecurity of mine, all through high school and college I prided myself in having pretty clear skin.  I never had any issues with my skin until the past couple of years. You could say, it has definitely been a struggle trying to figure out what is going on with it. However, I am now currently on a skincare routine that is helping, so praise the Lord for that!   Saying that taking this picture wasn't my favorite, especially not editing it or putting a filter on it, but I have learned that exposed beauty is true beauty.  Don't get me wrong, I LOVE makeup, most of my days off consist of watching makeup tutorials on youtube, then going to Ulta just to play around with different types and brands of it. I think, though, where we have gone wrong with makeup is we use it to try and hide our true faces underneath it all.  Makeup is a way to ENHANCE our beauty not to HIDE it!    I challenge you, maybe take a day where you don't wear any makeup, learn to love yourself before you even put it on.  You are beautiful!   Expose your beauty!
