Day Three of my #SELFIEvaluation - Mop or Mane? Hairy Thoughts Today I'm going to be sharing with you something that I absolutely love about myself, and that my friends is my HAIR!   As a child I was completely bald until I was almost three years old, my mom told me she used to have to use Cairo syrup to pull up the little strands of hair that I did have so she could put a bow on me, because lets be real the bigger the bow the cuter the baby ?? Or something like that! After those three bald years were over, my hair begin to grow and boy has it grown, I have had long hair most of my adult life, except for a time in 2009 when I made the mistake of chopping it all off!   I know I'm not alone on that one! My hair has definitely been through the ringer from brunette, to blonde, to black (when I thought I was hardcore in High School) to even black with rainbow colored bangs, then there was the dreaded yellow, orange colored blonde with brown roots as dark as Satan's soul because I was a poor college student who couldn't keep it maintained, and I'll never forget the year 2013 when I found out that grey was starting to creep it's way in - I was only 24 people! Now, however, it is well taken care of, and mostly all natural with of course some artificial color because why not.   Hair is such a great accessory to have, you can do whatever you want to it, it shows our personality and our style! My hair is quite long these days which some days I love some days I want to go with the trend and cut it, but I do love my hair! (Insert Hair Flip) Today, take a moment to think of something about you that you love!  So many of us focus too much on the negative things (which is what I don't want anyone to take from these posts) it's time for you to look at all the things about you that you love, and after you do that, do me a favor, and just SMILE about it! Love all of who you are!   These are my Hairy Thoughts! "Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows." --Luke 12:7
